The middle-aged students of a private English school in Havana have very diverse aspirations, but all want to learn English in order to be prepared for a future of normalized relations between Cuba and the United States . During the English lessons we hear about their dreams for the future and the new Cuba that is starting to appear on the horizon.

Sheyla Pool
Sheyla Pool holds a degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Havana, having completed several screenplay workshops. In 2005, she has graduated from the International School of Film and Television of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba with emphasis in Sound. Since then she has alternated sound works with filmmaking and writing and is currently working on scripts for feature films.
